"Working on the Night Moves"
Fly Fishing Southwest Florida doesn't get any better than this. Especially if you're fishing for Snook and Tarpon. The occasional Trout and Redfish are known to grab a fly on the lights as well!
For the uninitiated, home owners on the water will sometimes have submerged or overhead lights placed on their docks. The combination of bait attracting light and structure are snook magnets. It's not uncommon to see a few tarpon milling around as well especially since both are predominantly night time feeders so be ready to bow to the "silver king" (Can you find the fish in the background picture?!)
The lights around Pine Island, Matlacha, and the Caloosahatchee River hold fish all year long, making this one of my favorite things to do on Spirit Fly Charters. So if you want to escape the cold winter winds, your kids, or the office here's your ticket.
